Abstract

Sedum sartorianum Boiss. subsp. sartorianum (Crassulaceae) is a small, glabrous, perennial, succulent plant1. Sedum species are traditionally used in many parts of the world for the treatment of a wide variety of diseases including inflammation, gastrointestinal disorders, microbial infections and haemorrhoids. Sedum species are also used as hypotensives, emetics and an effective corn removers2. In Turkey, S. sartorianum ssp. sartorianum is utilised as a wound healing agent.
