Abstract

In previous two parts, we intensively discussed the theoretical backgrounds of Web data mining and the engaged techniques of three kinds of Web data mining. These contents provide the comprehensive descriptions from the perspective of principles and approaches. In this part, we change to discuss the possible applications of such techniques in a broader extent. The application potentials cover a variety of application areas. In particular, in this part we will discuss several interesting topics of social networking, Web community and Web recommender systems.
