Abstract

Groin neurostimulation or ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric, and genitofemoral nerve stimulation offers the potential for a minimally invasive, low risk, and reversible approach to manage intractable neuropathic pain in the groin and pelvic areas. Recently, the author has been using groin neurostimulation successfully in the treatment of postherniorrhaphy neuropathic pain.
