Abstract
About one third of terrorist explosive devices (ED) that are used in the world’s “hot spots” are radio-controlled. Such devices account for 60–70% of those used for mining roads. Explosive devices are placed on mountain passes, canyon exits, road intersections, serpentines, steep downward/ upward roads, turns; They are also placed on roadbeds, bridges, tunnels and other road facilities.
