The Frederic Chopin Society organizes the International Chopin Piano Competition, the Scholarly Piano Competition for Polish Pianists, the Grand Prix du Disque Frederic Chopin, courses in Chopin's music interpretation and Chopin music recitals as well as running a museum and collection.
International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition
Subjects: Piano performance of Chopin's music.
Purpose: To recognize the best artistic interpretation of Chopin's music and to encourage professional development.
Eligibility: Open to pianists of any nationality, born between 1977 and 1988.
Level of Study: Unrestricted
Type: Prize
Value: First prize €30,000 and gold medal; second prize €25,000 and silver medal; third prize €20,000 and bronze medal; fourth prize €15,000; fifth prize €10,000; sixth prize €7,000 plus special prizes.
Frequency: Every 5 years
Country of Study: Any country

Application Procedure: Applicants must complete and submit an application form attached with the rules.
