The annotated face model (AFM) is a 3D model of a human face. The AFM defines the control points of subdivision surfaces and it is annotated into different areas (e.g., mouth, nose, eyes). Using a global parameterization of the AFM, the polygonal representation of the model can be converted into an equivalent geometry image representation.
