In the previous chapters we gave an account of the SDS theory developed so far. This final chapter describes a collection of ongoing work and possible directions for future research in theory and applications of SDS. This is, of course, not an exhaustive list, and some of what follows is in an early stage. The material presented here reflects, however, what we currently consider interesting and important and what has already been identified as useful for many application areas.
