Abstract
Great professors focus on the core competencies of their discipline, not on Information Technology support. Meanwhile, information technology has become an integral part of their instruction and research. Professors cannot depend solely on generic, campus-wide IT service offerings. Each professor has unique information technology needs. As technology has become more complex and security risks have grown, each professor requires personalized information technology support.
