Abstract
Through examples this chapter illuminates the features that distinguish the ‘consistent preferences’ approach from the ‘rational choice’ approach (cf. Chapter 1). The examples also illustrate issues of relevance when capturing backward and forward induction in models of interactive epistemology. The same examples will be revisited in later chapters.
