Abstract

Therefore it might be more interesting to talk about a democratisation of architecture instead of a popularisation. It’s not only a logical step in a world of ever increasing consumer-driven production but a necessary organisational renewal for a discipline that could use a little more sense of reality. Architecture, once at the heart societal progress, is more and more reduced to mere scenery for a world on the move.
