Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl der durchgeführten Hochdosistherapien mit konsekutiver hämatopoetischer Stammzelltransplantation (HSCT) hat in den letzten Jahren kontinuierlich zugenommen. 2001 betrug die Zahl der erstmals durchgeführten autologen und allogenen Knochenmarktransplantationen (KMT) sowie peripheren Blutstammzelltransplantationen (PBSCT) in Deutschland 3499 (1993 ca. 1100).
