The frequency of an oscillator used to provide sustaining power to devices, such as lasers and parametric amplifiers, that require radio frequency (rf) sinusoidal or pulsed power. Note: Pumps usually are designed to provide resonant frequencies to raise power levels in the devices they pump energy into.
