Zusammenfassung
Durch die zahlreichen Möglichkeiten des Webs 2.0 werden täglich Unmengen von Informationen in Unternehmen auf Basis interner und externer Quellen generiert. Dies erschwert die Suche nach der richtigen Information erheblich, man ist nicht mehr imstande das Richtige zu finden oder Relevantes von Irrelevantem zu unterscheiden. Mit den Anstrengungen der letzten Jahre in Richtung semantisches Web (WEB 3.0) sind durchaus neue Möglichkeiten geschaffen worden, mit deren Hilfe ein intelligentes Navigieren durch das Informationschaos möglich wird.1 Außerdem wurden Ansätze entwickelt, bereits vorhandenes und strukturiertes Wissen (Klassifikationssysteme) in ein Wissensmodell in Form einer Ontologie zu transformieren.2 Der nächste konsequente und logische Schritt ist der Einsatz semantischer und linguistischer Informationstechnologie zur Analyse des in freisprachlichen Texten verborgenen Wissens, um diese unstrukturierten Fakten für das Unternehmen und seine Prozesse verfügbar zu machen.
