The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is a national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students

Subjects: Accounting or taxation.

Purpose: To ensure that professors of ethnically diverse backgrounds are represented in college and university accounting classrooms.

Eligibility: Open to African American, Hispanic American or Native American who have applied to or been accepted into a doctoral program with a concentration in accounting or taxation. Applicants must be CPAs or plan to pursue the CPA credential.

AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship

Subjects: Accounting.

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to liberal arts degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting and the CPA designation. These awards are intended to encourage liberal arts students to consider professional accounting careers.

Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, minority students and full-time graduate students. Applicants must be declared accounting, tax, finance or other related majors who plan to pursue the CPA credential.
