Conclusion
The present investigations show that the soil fungi are almost cosmopolitan. If detailed work is pursued, no doubt practically all the genera and many of the species reported from Europe and America could be found. Regarding the total number of the organisms, it has been found that the temperature plays a very important part as also the moisture contents of the soil.Aspergilli andPenicillii occur in the largest number in the soil and either the former or the latter will predominate depending upon whether the temperature is high or low.
About twenty species of fungi have been recorded by the author. Of these some are new records.
