Abstract

A new derivative of benzylisoquinoline (458 L) inhibited kidney histidine decarboxylase and decreased the passive anaphylactic bronchospasm in guinea pigs. In rats, the gastric hypersecretion induced by reserpine was inhibited. In mice, the catatonic reactions due to seretonin accumulation were highly reduced.
