The histones ofDictyostelium discoideum

Summary

The histones of the cellular slime mouldDictyostelium discoideum have been separated by electrophoresis using both acid urea and sodium dodecyl sulphate systems, and the gel pattern compared with that of histones fromPhysarum polycephalum and calf thymus.Dictyostelium is found to possess a full complement of H1, H2A, H2B, H3 and H4.
