Zusammenfassung
Es wird über Untersuchungen mit einem neuen Polyfructosesaccharid berichtet. Beim Hund stimmt die Clearance dieser Substanz bis zu Plasmakonzentrationen von etwa 1500 mg-% mit der Kreatininclearance überein. Das Verteilungs-volumen der Substanz ist bei Hund und Ratte identisch mit dem Verteilungsvolumen von Inulin. Die Substanz wird beim Hund nach einer einmaligen Injektion innerhalb 7 Std nahezu völlig im Urin ausgeschieden, entsprechende Ergebnisse wurden auch bei Stichproben am Menschen erhalten. Alle Versuchsergebnisse sprechen dafür, daß das neue Polyfructosesaccharid sich biologisch wie Inulin verhält, und daß es zur Bestimmung der glomerulären Filtratmenge geeignet ist. Das neue Polysaccharid weist jedoch gegenüber dem Inulin wesentliche praktische Vorteile auf, da es außerordentlich gut wasserlöslich und alkalistabil ist.
