Summary

A second species of the hitherto monotypic order Takakiales is described and figured en detail. This Himalayan species —T. ceratophylla (Mitt.)Gro. n. c. — is very similar to the type speciesT. lepidozioides from M-Japan and SW-Canada and also an orophyt.
