Summary
-
1.
Manganese tricarbonyl cyclopentadienyl has been shown to be highly effective as a stabilizer for PMS-100 silicone fluid.
-
2.
The relation between additive effectiveness and concentration has been studied. For tests at 250° C, it has been shown that the curve of effectiveness vs. concentration passes through a maximum.
-
3.
It has been established that the optimum additive concentration depends on the temperature at which the silicone fluid is used.
