Spurenmengen von Phenolen konnten mit Hilfe dieser stationären Phase bestimmt werden, die sich durch gute Trennung der isomeren Kresole und Xylenole sowie hohe thermische Stabilität auszeichnet.

Summary

The paper describes the use of octa-2∶4-xylenyl pentaerythritol tetrakis phosphate as a stationary phase suitable for the determination of trace quantities of phenols by gas-liquid chromatographic technique. The phase was designed with two major factors in mind: a good separation of the isomeric xylenols and cresols and high thermal stability for the stationary phase.
