Care-free for Isle of Wight residents over 80

Thousands of people aged over 80 who live on the Isle of Wight began to receive their home care services for free from the start of this month. The pioneering move has been made by the local authority and will mean that older people who may be asset rich but cash poor receive free home care from the island’s social services department.
