Abstract

Chaetiacandin, a new anti-yeast antibiotic structurally related to papulacandin, was isolated from a culture of Monochaetia dimorphospora. The fermentation, isolation, and physicochemical and biological properties are reported. The molecular formula of this compound was determined as C₄₃H₆₀O₁₆.
