In 2015, the People's Liberation Army Air Force H-6K bomber passed the first island chain to the West Pacific through the Bus Channel and Miyako Strait. In recent years, various models aircraft have joined the training to simulate various attack routes and gradually train long-range combat capabilities. The frequent military developments of the PLA Air Force in the western Pacific region have already had a certain impact on the security and stability of the surrounding areas. This paper studies the modernization of the PLA and the evolution of strategic thinking, and studies the impact of the development of the air force in the eastern theater on the military situation in the future Western Pacific airspace.
