Abstract

Most of the investigations reported in literature contain the results on radiation patterns in which the sidelobe levels are relatively high, but these patterns of high sidelobes are not accepted for point to point communications and these high sidelobes create a lot of hazards in low noise receivers. In view of the above facts intensive investigations are made within the current effort on the design of linear antenna arrays of isotropic radiators to generate ultra-low side lobe sum patterns using evolutionary algorithm similar to Genetic Algorithm (GA), Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO) and Flower pollination Algorithm (FPA) toward build it appropriate on behalf of higher resoluteness radar, point to point communication as well as lower EMI application. In this work, the investigations are carried out for the generation of low side lobe radiation pattern since linear antenna array with isotropic elements by considering the number of elements, N=10, 20, 30, 40,……100. The corresponding radiation sum pattern is arithmetically calculated as well as the same has been exposed at the end.
