ÖZET
 Amaç: Bu çalışmada, maksillofasiyal bölgede görülen neoplazmların konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografi (KIBT) ile elde edilen ön tanılarını, histopatoloji sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırma yaparak, ortaya çıkan farklılıklara vurgu yapmayı amaçlıyoruz. Gereç ve Yöntemler: 2008- 2019 tarihleri arasında Atatürk Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinde, KIBT kullanılarak incelenen hastalardan, neoplazm ön tanısı konulan 186 hastanın, 75 tanesinin histopatoloji sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Bu hastaların, radyolojik ve histopatolojik rapor sonuçları karşılaştırılmıştır. Bulgular: Yetmiş beş hastadan 35'i kadın, 40'ı erkektir. KIBT'deki ön tanıların 70'i benign neoplazm iken; 5'i malign neoplazmdır. KIBT'de ön tanısı benign neoplazm olan raporlardan 14 tanesi histopatoloji raporuyla uyumlu iken; geri kalan 56 neoplazm histopatolojik tetkik sonrası malign neoplazm, kist veya başka bir kemik lezyonu olarak raporlanmıştır. Malignite şüphesi duyulan 5 hastanın 2'sinde histopatolojik değerlendirmeyle teşhis doğrulanmış, 1 hastanın histopatoloji tetkiki farklı bir neoplazm olarak sonuçlanmıştır. İki hastanın histopatolojik değerlendirmesi ise benign neoplazm ya da diğer kemik patolojisi olan lezyonlar lehine yorumlanmıştır. Sonuç: İleri görüntüleme yöntemlerinden KIBT, diş hekimliğinde maksillofasiyal bölgedeki neoplazilerin tespiti ve ön tanısı için başvurulan görüntüleme yöntemlerinden biridir. Çene kemiklerinde görülen lezyonların çeşidinin fazla olması ve birbirini taklit etmesinden dolayı KIBT'de, neoplazm ile kist veya diğer kemik lezyonları karıştırılabilir. Yaptığımız çalışmaya göre radyolojik incelemelerle ön tanısı konulan neoplazmlar, yüksek oranda kistlere benzer görüntü vermektedir. KIBT'ye ek olarak başka tetkiklerin yapılması, cerrahi tedavi öncesi ayırıcı tanı için yardımcı olabilir.

ABSTRACT
 Objective: In this study, we aim to emphasize the differences in the preliminary diagnoses of neoplasms seen in the maxillofacial region obtained by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) by comparing histopathology results. Material and Methods: Between 2008 and 2019, the histopathology reports of 75 out of 186 patients with suspected neoplasms were obtained from patients studied using CBCT at Ataturk University, Faculty of Dentistry. The results of the radiological and histopathology reports of the patients were compared. Results: Of the 75 patients, 35 patients were female and 40 patients were male. Of the preliminary diagnoses in CBCT, 70 were benign neoplasm while 5 were malignant neoplasm. While 14 of the reports with a preliminary diagnosis of benign neoplasm in CBCT are compatible with the histopathology report; after histopathological examination, the remaining 56 neoplasms were reported different from the preliminary diagnosis of CBCT and these different lesions were malignant neoplasm, cyst, or other bone lesions. In 2 of 5 patients with suspected malignancy, the diagnosis was confirmed by histopathology, and histopathology examination of 1 patient resulted in a different neoplasm. The histopathology report of 2 patients was interpreted in favor of lesions with benign neoplasm or other bone pathology. Conclusion: CBCT is one of the advanced imaging methods used in dentistry for the detection of neoplasms in the maxillofacial region. Because the type of lesions seen in the jaw bones is excessive and mimic each other, neoplasm and cysts or other bone lesions may be confused in CBCT. According to the study we conducted, neoplasms preliminary diagnosis by radiological examinations give a high rate of appearance similar to cysts. Conducting other examinations in addition to CBCT can help for differential diagnosis before surgical treatment.

"Force majeure" term will be regarded as outside of the concerned party's reasonable control and any situation that "Turkiye Klinikleri" cannot prevent even though it shows due diligence. 8. LAW AND AUTHORISATION TO FOLLOW

Turkish Law will be applied in practicing, interpreting the hereby "Terms of Use" and managing the emerging legal relationships within this "Terms of Use" in case of finding element of foreignness, except for the rules of Turkish conflict of laws. Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices are entitled in any controversy happened or may happen due to hereby contract.

9. CLOSING AND AGREEMENT

Hereby "Terms of Use" come into force when announced in the "SITE" by "Turkiye Klinikleri". The users are regarded to agree to hereby contract terms by using the "SITE".
