Diagnosis. Both sexes resemble the similar congener Nops minas, which have a similar abdominal pattern as in figure 6I, and by having the PLS longer than PMS and the posterior unpaired claws small (Fig. 5C); but can be distinguished by a strongly curved embolus, longer than palpal tibia (Fig. 59B, D) in males, and a strongly sclerotized lep, remarkable ess and sclerotizations on lateral margins of anterior plate in external female genitalia (Fig. 59F).

Description. Male (MCTP 21983): Carapace, sternum, legs and labium orange. Chelicerae, endites and coxae orange yellowish. Abdomen dorsally greenish gray, with the most common pattern as in figure 6I, ventrally light pale gray. Anal tubercle and spinnerets light gray. Total length 8.9. Carapace 5.2 long, 3.8 wide. Sternum 4.6 long, 3.6 wide. Leg measurements: I: 4.1; II: 4.05; III: 3.5; IV: 4.15. Posterior unpaired claws small, as in other three‒clawed spiders (Fig. 62 A‒C). PLS longer than PMS (Fig. 61B). Palp with an embolus longer than tibia, strongly curved at the first third forming a 90° angle, apical part swollen, the rest thin (Fig. 59B‒C; 63B‒C); tip with two ventral short extensions and a reborded dorsal margin (Figs. 63D‒F).

Female (MCTP 27788). Carapace, chelicerae, labium, coxae, legs, endites and sternum as in male. Abdomen as in male (Fig. 59D). Anal tubercle and spinnerets whitish yellow. Total length 9.5. Carapace 5.5 long, 4.1 wide. Sternum 4.95 long, 3.8 wide. Leg measurements: I: 4.2; II: 4.15; III: 3.7; IV: 4.3. Posterior unpaired claws and PLS as in male. External genital area with strongly sclerotized anterior plate, strongly sclerotized lep and remarkable ess (Fig. 59F). Internal genitalia with wide invagination on receptaculum and uterus externus with narrow base (Figs 59F; 62J‒L).

Distribution. Known from the Brazilian States of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul (Fig. 59H).
