Holotype: ♂. MEXICO: Veracruz, Soteapa, Ocotal Chico, en arroyo, 15/VIII/1980. Col. S. Zaragoza

Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.

Paratypes: 44 ♂, 66 ♀. Ídem.

Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.

Additional notes: Current synonym of Hexanchorus gracilipes Sharp, 1882 (see Spangler & Santiago- Fragoso, 1992).
