Type information: Holotype M (and paratype M), TURKEY: Mugla, Dalyan, Iztuzu, 36 46 N, 28 38 E, 2.6.1988, (R. Kinzelbach).
Material examined: TURKEY: Mugla: 1M, Dalaman, Kocagöl, 100 m, 22.6.1998 (B. Yalım) (AUZM); 1M, 1F, unterhalb Bayir (koy) (ca. 17 km sw Marmaris) (36°43'N, 28°8'E), 8.6.2000 (K.-G. Heller) (CH) (sound record); Antalya: 1M, Akdeniz University, Social Guest House, 30 m, N 36°53.947, E 030°39.324, August 2006 (B. Çıplak) (in alcohol, AUZM).
Distribution: This species is restricted to the southern part of Muǧla and western part of Antalya provinces in the western Mediterranean Turkey.
