Description
Insulestremia sinclairi Jaschhof, 2004
Diagnosis. Terminalia. Gonocoxite with a dorsomedial sclerotized lobe. Gonostylus as long as gonocoxite, with cylindrical posterior lobe, rounded at apex and bearing four–five short megasetae; medial lobe directed inwards, tapering toward tip, with small spine-like tooth on apex. Tegmen as long as gonocoxites, more than 3 times longer than width of base, rounded at apex. Ejaculatory apodeme sclerotized on basal two-thirds.
Material examined: ECUADOR: Galapagos Islands, San Cristobal, 3 km E Baquerizo, 100 m, 3 males and 1 female PARATYPES, 12–23 Feb. 1989, Malaise trap, S.B. Peck and B.J. Sinclair. det. M Jaschhof. 89-50 (CNC); Pto. Baquerizo in arid zone, 1 male 20 Feb. 1989, by sweeping, B.J. Sinclair. det. M Jaschhof. BS 109 (CNC).
