Description
This data was used to attain the objectives of a journal article titled "Satellite-based modelling of potential tsetse (Glossina pallidipes) breeding and foraging sites using teneral and non-teneral fly occurrence data". The .CSV files that contain the tsetse trapping locations pooled from a tsetse database collected by researchers from the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) between 2017 and 2019. Detailed information on how the trapping data was converted to presence/absence data can be found on the actual publications. The environmental variables were generated using Google Earth Engine (GEE). The R scripts were used to assess the multicollinearity between predictor variables and fit the Species Distribution Modelling (SDM).
