Cyperus glaber Linnaeus, Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 179. 1771.

Lectotype (Simpson in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 179. 2004): [icon] " Cyperus parvus, panicula conglobata, spicis compressis, spadiceo-viridibus" in Séguier, Pl. Veron. 3: 66, 67, t. 2, f. 1. 1754. - Epitype (Simpson in Taxon 53: 179. 2004): Italy. Prov. Verona. Brigafatta in pugo vigusio. Aug 1894. Rigo 3273 (BM).

Current name: Cyperus glaber L. (Cyperaceae).
