Description
Crotalaria verrucosa Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 715. 1753.
"Habitat in India." RCN: 5256.
Lectotype (Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 4: 8. 1920; Polhill in Milne-Redhead & Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Leguminosae 4: 959. 1971): Herb. Hermann 3: 4, No. 277 (BM-000621801).
Current name: Crotalaria verrucosa L. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
Note: Fawcett & Rendle indicated "Type in Herb. Hermann" but did not distinguish between material and an illustration. This was subsequently clarified by Polhill.
