Basionym of: Ixia bulbocodium (L.) L. (1762).
Lectotype (Labani & El-Gadi in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 81: 17. 1980): Herb. Linn. No. 58.4 (LINN).
Current name: Romulea bulbocodium (L.) Sebast. & Mauri (Iridaceae).
