Description

Crassula ciliata Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 283. 1753.

"Habitat in Aethiopia." RCN: 2250.

Lectotype (Tölken in J. S. African Bot. 38: 68. 1972): [icon] " Crassula caulescens, foliis Sempervivi cruciatis " in Dillenius, Hort. Eltham. 1: 116, t. 98, f. 116. 1732.

Current name: Crassula ciliata L. (Crassulaceae).

Note: Schonland (in Trans. Roy. Soc. S. Africa 17: 264. 1929) treated material in Herb. Sherard (OXF) as the type, but this was not seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
