Description

Chironia baccifera Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 190. 1753.

"Habitat in Aethiopia." RCN: 1519.

Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 105. 1983): [icon] " Centaurium minus Afric. arborescens pulpiferum " in Commelin, Hort. Med. Amstelaed. Pl. Rar.: 9, t. 9. 1706.

Current name: Chironia baccifera L. (Gentianaceae).
