Description

Centaurea moschata Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 909. 1753.

"Habitat in Tataria." RCN: 6579.

Lectotype (Gabrielian & Jarvis in Taxon 45: 214. 1996): [icon] "Cyanus Orientalis foliis magis dissectis flo. rubro et albo" in Morison, Pl. Hist. Univ. 3: 135, s. 7, t. 25, f. 5. 1699.

Current name: Amberboa moschata (L.) DC. (Asteraceae).
