Description

Anchusa orientalis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 133. 1753.

"Habitat in Oriente." RCN: 1071.

Basionym of: Lithospermum orientale (L.) L. (1767).

Lectotype (Güner & Duman in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 800. 2004): Herb. Clifford: 47, Anchusa 2 (BM-000557914).

Current name: Alkanna orientalis (L.) Boiss. (Boraginaceae).
