Description
Lichen pustulatus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1150. 1753.
"Habitat in Europae rupibus apricis. rupestris." RCN: 8225.
Lectotype (Howe in Bull. Torrey Bot. Club 39: 201. 1912; Jørgensen & al. in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 345, f. 51. 1994): Herb. Linn. No. 1273.201, uppermost specimen (LINN).
Current name: Lasallia pustulata ( L.) Mérat (Umbiliculariaceae).
Note: Jørgensen & al. (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 345, 380, f. 51. 1994) restricted Howe’s original type choice to one of the specimens on the sheet.
