Description

Smilax laurifolia Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1030. 1753.

"Habitat in Virginia, Carolina." RCN: 7443.

Lectotype (designated here by Reveal): Clayton 617, Herb. Linn. No. 1182.9 (LINN).

Current name: Smilax laurifolia L. (Smilacaceae).
