Description

Sium siculum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 252. 1753.

Lectotype (Jury & al. in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 215. 2006): [icon] "Dauco con foglia di Pastinaca Siciliano " in Zanoni, Istoria Bot.: 78, t. 30. 1675. - Epitype (Jury & al. in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 215. 2006): Italy. Sicily: Siracusa, 12 May 1979, Davis, P. & Sutton, D. & S. 62943 (BM).

Current name: Kundmannia sicula (L.) DC. (Apiaceae).
