Pinguicula lusitanica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 17. 1753.
"Habitat in Lusitania." RCN: 140.
Neotype (Blanca & Jarvis in Folia Geobot. 34: 353. 1999): Portugal. Arredores do Porto pr. S. Gens, Sta Cruz do Bispo, circa Porto (May 1883, E. Johnston - Fl. Lusitanica exs. No. 2662, Herb. A.A. de Carvalho Monteiro) (BM).
Current name: Pinguicula lusitanica L. (Lentibulariaceae).
