Replaced synonym: Phalaris tuberosa L. (1771).
Lectotype (Anderson in Iowa State J. Sci. 36: 43. 1961): Herb. Linn. No. 78.3 (LINN).
Current name: Phalaris aquatica L. (Poaceae).
Note: An illegitimate replacement name for P. tuberosa L. (1771), as noted by Bor (in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 70: 348. 1970).
