Description
Tragopogon picroides Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 790. 1753.
"Habitat in Creta, Monspelii." RCN: 5785.
Lectotype (Turland in Jarvis & Turland in Taxon 47: 369. 1998): Herb. Clifford: 382, Tragopogon 2 (BM-000646822).
Current name: Urospermum picroides (L.) Scop, ex F.W. Schmidt (Asteraceae).
