Lectotype (Hilliard & Burtt in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 199, 247. 1981): Herb. A. van Royen No. 900.346-99 (L).
Current name: Helichrysum spiralepis Hilliard & B.L. Burtt (Asteraceae).
