Basionym of: Stachys annua (L.) L. (1763).
Lectotype (Nelson in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 510. 2001): Herb. Clifford: 310, Stachys 7, sheet A “annua” (BM-000646054).
Current name: Stachys annua (L.) L. (Lamiaceae).
