Baccharis tenuifolia Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 860. 1753.

Replaced synonym of: Chrysocoma scabra L. (1763), nom. illeg.

Type not designated.

Original material: [icon] in Dillenius, Hort. Eltham. 1: 104, t. 88, f. 103. 1732.

Current name: Polyarrhena reflexa (L.) Cass. (Asteraceae).

Note: Stearn (in Blunt, Compleat Naturalist: 249. 1971) discussed the protologue but did not indicate a type.
