Description

Ricinus tanarius Linnaeus, Herbarium Amboinense: 14. 1754.

Lectotype (Merrill, Interpret. Rumph. Herb. Amb.: 33, 320. 1917): [icon] " Tanarius minor " in Rumphius, Herb. Amboin. 3: 190, t. 121. 1743.

Current name: Macaranga tanarius (L.) Müll. Arg. (Euphorbiaceae).
