Description
Ranunculus cassubicus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 551. 1753.
"Habitat in Cassubia, Sibiria." RCN: 4072.
Lectotype (Kvist in Ann. Bot. Fenn. 24: 73, f. 1. 1987): Gerber?, Herb. Linn. No. 715.20 (LINN).
Current name: Ranunculus cassubicus L. (Ranunculaceae).
Note: Borchers-Kolb (in Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 21: 64. 1985) stated "Typus: "Habitat in Cassubia, Sibiria". (L.)" but this cannot be accepted as an explicit typification (with Leiden cited, possibly in error for LINN).
