Description

Mimosa tergemina Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 517. 1753.

"Habitat in America meridionali." RCN: 7655.

Lectotype (Howard, Fl. Lesser Antilles 4: 352. 1988): [icon] "Mimosa foliis tergeminis" in Plumier in Burman, Pl. Amer.: 6, t. 10, f. 1. 1755.

Current name: Calliandra tergemina (L.) Benth. (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae).
